The Vibra® Fishbone mat is a robust rubber mat with a distinctive herringbone or arrow-shaped profile, designed for use as a floor covering and protective mat. Thanks to its diagonally arranged ribs, the profile provides slip resistance in multiple directions, ensuring a secure footing and making it particularly suitable for walkways, ramps and areas with one-way traffic. The Vibra® herringbone mat (Fishbone) is a robust rubber mat with a distinctive herringbone or arrow-shaped profile, designed for use as a floor covering and protective mat. Thanks to its diagonally arranged ribs, the profile provides slip resistance in multiple directions, ensuring a secure footing and making it particularly suitable for walkways, ramps and areas with one-way traffic. Typical applications include walkways and floor coverings in industrial and commercial settings, ramps and crossings, workstation and machinery underlays, as well as general protective and anti-slip applications.
The mat is made from a tried-and-tested NR/SBR industrial-grade rubber with good mechanical properties as well as good abrasion and impact resistance. Mechanically, it offers a tensile strength of 3 MPa (approximately 30 kg/cm²) with an elongation at break of 200% and a hardness of 70 ± 5 Shore A. The operating temperature range is from –20 °C to +70 °C.
When using the mat, please note that this is a standard grade designed for mechanical applications: it offers moderate resistance to alkalis and ageing, but is not intended for prolonged contact with oils, fuels or acids. However, it is ideally suited for use as an anti-slip floor covering and protective mat in dry environments.
With a density of 1.5 g/cm³ and a black finish, the Vibra® herringbone mat is robust, durable and easy to cut to size – available in rolls and sheets as well as made to measure.
