Vibra®Para is a rubber sheet made from high-quality natural rubber (NR) and impresses with its exceptional mechanical properties. Natural rubber is regarded as the most elastic and mechanically robust of all common elastomers – a characteristic that makes this sheet the first choice for high-stress and abrasive applications.

Its mechanical properties clearly underline this: with a high tensile strength of 150 kg/cm² (around 14.7 MPa), an exceptional elongation at break of up to 600 % and very good abrasion resistance (abrasion max. 100 mm³), the sheet is ideal for wear protection, hopper and container linings, impact protection, conveyor belt coverings and mechanically highly stressed supports. A low compression set of no more than 30 % ensures excellent recovery properties. With a soft hardness of 45 ± 5 Shore A, the sheet is highly flexible and adapts well to contours.

The choice of material depends crucially on the operating environment: natural rubber is designed to withstand mechanical stress and is not suitable for contact with oils, greases, acids, alkalis or solvents; its resistance to ozone and weathering is also limited. The sheet is therefore particularly suitable for dry, mechanically stressed indoor applications. The operating temperature range is from –25 °C to +70 °C (red version down to –30 °C).

With a low density of 1.10 g/cm³, Vibra®Para can be cut to size, die-cut and fabricated – available in beige, grey and red, by the metre and as bespoke cut-to-size sheets for wear protection and cushioning applications subject to high mechanical stress.
