The Vibra® PVC sheet is made from flexible, transparent blue soft PVC and is the right choice wherever a flexible partition that also allows a clear view is required. Its transparency allows for an unobstructed view and light transmission, whilst at the same time providing protection against draughts, noise, splashes and temperature fluctuations. Typical applications include the protection and screening of machinery, flexible partition walls, as well as doors and passageways – for example in cold stores, warehouses, production and logistics areas.
The material is highly flexible and remains supple even at low temperatures. It exhibits good temperature resistance in both cold and warmer conditions and offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, ozone and weathering – properties that also make it suitable for long-term use in demanding environments. The operating temperature range extends from –20 °C to +50 °C.
Mechanically, the soft PVC, with a Shore A hardness of 75 ± 5, offers a tensile strength of 17 MPa and an elongation at break of 360 %, making it both flexible and resilient. With a density of 1.22 g/cm³ and its transparent blue finish, the Vibra® PVC sheet is easy to cut to size and fabricate – available by the metre and as bespoke cut-to-size sheets. For strip curtains and slatted partitions, the material is also available as pre-assembled Vibra® PVC strips.
