Vibra® Ring Mat

The Vibra® Ring Mat is a robust rubber mat with an open, perforated ring structure for demanding flooring and anti-slip applications. Its operating principle is based on the open honeycomb structure: dirt, water, liquids and shavings fall through the rings, ensuring that the walkable surface remains dry, clean and slip-resistant. At the same time, the elastic structure provides shock absorption and relieves strain during prolonged standing. This makes the mat particularly suitable for entrances, wet and splash-prone areas, kitchens and catering establishments, workshops, industrial workplaces and high-traffic passageways.

The mat is available in three versions: as a standard ring mat with an open ring structure, as a ‘Connective’ version with side connectors that allow several mats to be joined together to form large, continuous surfaces, and as an ‘Entrance’ version with a bevelled edge all round, designed as a ready-to-use entrance and dirt-trapping mat.

All versions are made from a tried-and-tested NR/SBR industrial-grade rubber with good mechanical properties and good abrasion and impact resistance. Mechanically, the mats offer a tensile strength of 3 MPa (approximately 30 kg/cm²) with an elongation at break of 200 % and a comfortable, medium-soft hardness of 50 ± 5 Shore A. The operating temperature range is from –20 °C to +70 °C.

When using the mats, please note that this is a standard grade designed for mechanical applications: it offers moderate resistance to alkalis and ageing, but is not intended for prolonged contact with oils, fuels or acids. However, it is ideally suited for use as a perforated anti-slip and dirt-trapping mat.

With a density of 1.2 g/cm³ and a black finish, the Vibra® Ring Mat is robust, durable and easy to maintain – available as a pre-cut mat as well as in interlocking and edged versions for customised areas.
