The Vibra® rubber clamping profile, made from high-quality EPDM, has been specially developed to insert glass and plexiglass panes securely and cleanly into prepared openings, as is often the case in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, equipment and enclosure manufacturing, and in special constructions. The profile serves as a reliable connection between a sheet metal or plastic panel, into which a pane-sized opening has been cut, and the pane to be inserted. At the same time, it provides a durable, flexible and weather-resistant seal.

The Vibra® rubber clamping profile, made from high-quality EPDM, has been specially developed to insert glass and plexiglass panes securely and cleanly into prepared openings, as is often the case in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, equipment and enclosure manufacturing, and in special constructions. The profile serves as a reliable connection between a sheet metal or plastic plate, into which a pane-sized opening has been cut, and the pane to be inserted. At the same time, it ensures a durable, flexible and weather-resistant seal.
The rubber clamping profile features three precisely designed notches: the narrower notch accommodates the sheet metal or plastic panel, whilst the wider notch accommodates and securely clamps the glass or plexiglass pane. The third, triangular-shaped notch is designed to accommodate the so-called filler profile, which is pressed in from above after insertion. This filler profile significantly increases the clamping effect and ensures a firm, vibration-resistant fit as well as a reliable seal against dust, moisture and draughts.
Thanks to the material properties of EPDM rubber, the profile remains permanently elastic, ozone- and weather-resistant, and is therefore also suitable for outdoor applications or under demanding operating conditions. It prevents rattling noises, protects the pane from stress cracks and allows for a visually clean, professional finish.
