Edge protection sealing profiles – protection and sealing in a single system
Vibra® edge protection sealing profiles combine two crucial functions in a single product: they protect sensitive edges whilst ensuring a reliable seal. The profiles consist of robust PVC edge protection strips combined with a sealed soft foam rubber profile. This design delivers a dual effect: Edges are securely covered, whilst flexible foam rubber lips or integrated hollow chambers effectively seal doors, flaps and other components. They offer significant added value, particularly in industrial applications, in vehicle and mechanical engineering, and in enclosure construction, as they dampen vibrations, protect edges and prevent the ingress of dust, moisture or draughts.

This design delivers a dual benefit: Edges are securely covered, whilst flexible foam rubber lips or integrated hollow chambers effectively seal doors, flaps and other components. They offer significant added value, particularly in industrial applications, in vehicle and mechanical engineering, and in enclosure construction, as they dampen vibrations, protect edges and prevent the ingress of dust, moisture or draughts.
Installation of the edge protection sealing profiles is quick and straightforward. In most cases, simply pressing them into place by hand or using a rubber or plastic hammer is sufficient. Adhesives or additional fasteners are generally not required, as the integrated clamping action ensures a secure hold on the component. This not only simplifies installation but also enables clean, efficient working without lengthy set-up times.
We offer the profiles in a standard classic design, but can also provide them in other grades and colours upon request. These include, for example, food-safe variants for the food and medical technology sectors, flame-retardant or self-extinguishing types for safety-critical areas, as well as special materials for outdoor use or environments exposed to particularly high levels of chemicals. This means that a perfectly tailored edge protection sealing profile can be provided for virtually any application.
