Fiberform 62 T Polyester Fibre Mat – Aluminium

The Fiberform 62 T is a specially developed polyester fibre mat that combines three key properties in a single product: excellent acoustic performance, thermal insulation and reliable fire protection. Manufactured from PET and co-polyester staple fibres, which are bonded exclusively through thermal consolidation, the mat requires no additional binders. This not only ensures exceptional dimensional stability and tear resistance, but also makes it dust-free, low-emission and harmless to health – ideal for use in sensitive areas.

A key feature of the Fiberform 62 T is its single-sided aluminium coating. This surface fulfils several functions: it acts as a reflective layer against thermal radiation, thereby improving the thermal efficiency of the entire ceiling system. At the same time, it protects the mat from moisture and dust deposits and increases its mechanical resistance.
