The acoustic panels in the Silphon®acoustic PET-3D range have been developed to combine functionality and design in a high-quality solution. Manufactured from highly compressed polyester fibre, they reliably absorb sound waves and reduce disruptive noise, particularly in the mid and high frequency ranges. Combined with an air gap behind the panel, the sound absorption performance can be further enhanced. With a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.8 to 1.10, the panels ensure significantly more pleasant room acoustics and create a quieter atmosphere in offices, conference rooms, hotels, restaurants, schools, retail spaces and modern living areas.
The homogeneous material structure offers high elasticity, dimensional stability and excellent resistance to impacts, scratches and cracks. At the same time, the panels are lightweight, durable and easy to install. They comply with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, meet fire safety class B1 (flame-retardant) and formaldehyde emission class E0, making them ideal for long-term indoor use and contributing to a healthy indoor environment. Cleaning is straightforward using a vacuum cleaner or brush; heavier soiling can be removed with a damp cloth and a standard cleaning product.
The ‘Wasserwürfel’ model creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow thanks to its three-dimensional cube structure, lending walls a modern, architectural effect. The textured surface combines decorative design with acoustic functionality and is ideal for contemporary interior concepts. The panel is available in blue and peach and measures 600 × 600 × 74 mm.
