Vibra® AluTape RG – mesh-reinforced aluminium adhesive tape
Vibra® AluTape RG is a robust aluminium adhesive tape designed for taping joints and sealing cut edges on aluminium-laminated insulation and soundproofing mats. An embedded plastic mesh makes the tape tear- and puncture-resistant. Nevertheless, it can be cut by hand and adheres cleanly. The adhesive bonds immediately and provides a permanent hold, even in the presence of heat and moisture.

Vibra® AluTape RG is a robust aluminium adhesive tape designed for taping joints and sealing cut edges on aluminium-laminated insulation and soundproofing mats. An embedded plastic mesh makes the tape tear- and puncture-resistant. Nevertheless, it can be cut by hand and adheres neatly. The adhesive bonds immediately and provides a permanent hold, even in the presence of heat and moisture.
The tape has been tested in accordance with the rail industry standard EN 45545-2 (R1/R7, HL1–HL3) and is therefore suitable for insulation in rail vehicle construction. It is also used in mechanical and plant engineering, in ventilation and air-conditioning systems, and wherever aluminium-laminated materials need to provide a tight and clean seal.
It is ideal for use with Silphon Fiber LH (SK/Alu), melamine foam and aluminium-laminated foams from our range.
Delivery formats
We supply Vibra® AluTape RG in rolls of 50 m in widths of 48 mm and 72 mm. The 48 mm width is usually sufficient for joints in mats. For cut edges on thicker panels or wider coverings, we recommend 72 mm. Custom widths are available on request, subject to a minimum order quantity.
