Closed-cell polyethylene foam in sheet form
The PE foam is a closed-cell polyethylene material in sheet form with a bulk density of 33 kg/m³ and a thermal conductivity of 0.041 W/(m*K). Thanks to its fine, closed-cell structure, the material does not absorb moisture whilst offering reliable thermal insulation. Its high resistance to ageing and chemical resistance – including resistance to oil, petrol, heating oil and caustic soda – make this foam a technically sound solution for demanding applications in building construction and industrial settings.

Its high resistance to ageing and chemical resistance – including against oil, petrol, heating oil and caustic soda – make this foam a technically sound solution for demanding applications in building construction and industrial settings.
Its good dimensional stability, low weight and flexibility in processing allow it to be used in numerous functional areas, for example as a protective layer, spacer, thermal barrier, edge decoupling or technical insulation. Due to its increased pore content, the PE foam also provides additional thermal insulation and contributes to the efficiency of components and structures.
