LASTO-WALL G wall bearing – acoustic separation between wall and ceiling
The LASTO-WALL G wall support was developed to efficiently interrupt the transmission of secondary sound paths between brickwork and concrete slabs in the vertical direction. This elastic decoupling minimises unwanted structure-borne sound paths, thereby reducing noise disturbance and permanently improving the quality of living. Particularly given today’s requirements for enhanced sound insulation, standard construction methods are often insufficient – the Swiss standard SIA 181:2006 defines corresponding minimum values which are frequently not achieved without targeted measures.

The consistent use of LASTO-WALL G beneath every wall ensures that secondary transmission paths in the structural framework are specifically interrupted and sound transmission into adjacent building elements is reduced. For the interruption of secondary sound transmission paths via service pipes, the LASTO-ISOPIPE system is also available – a technically sound, cost-effective solution for the acoustic separation of pipework.
