The AIRDUC® PUR-INOX 355 FOOD AS is a heavy-duty, extremely robust polyurethane hose, specially developed to meet the high demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries. It is available in two versions – standard or antistatic – and thus offers an optimal solution for hygienic processes where both mechanical resilience and product safety are crucial.
The solid Pre-PUR® polyurethane wall ensures very high abrasion resistance, meaning the hose has a long service life even with regular contact with granules, powders, sugar, cereals or pharmaceutical substances. At the same time, thanks to its excellent cold flexibility, the AIRDUC® PUR-INOX 355 FOOD AS remains flexible and easy to handle even at low temperatures – a decisive advantage in cold stores, air-conditioned production areas or in mobile conveying systems.
The wall is microbe- and hydrolysis-resistant, which guarantees hygienic safety and resistance to damp process environments. Furthermore, the hose is odourless and tasteless, ensuring neutral, unadulterated product quality. This makes it ideal for sensitive media in food processing and the pharmaceutical industry.
The antistatic version features a conductive wall and a securely earthed construction, thereby preventing electrostatic build-up – particularly important when handling dry powders, fine dusts or in applications in EX/ATEX-relevant areas.
