KLINGERSIL® C-4500 is a high-quality, high-performance gasket specifically developed for harsh operating conditions in the chemical industry. Thanks to a matrix of carbon fibres, high-temperature-resistant additives and an NBR binder, this material delivers excellent performance in alkaline media and under steam conditions – particularly at elevated temperatures.
The material exhibits very high pressure resistance, excellent media resistance and permanently stable deformation under load. KLINGERSIL® C-4500 is resistant to alkalis, steam, oils, gases, salt solutions, fuels, alcohols, weak organic and inorganic acids, hydrocarbons, lubricants and refrigerants, making it particularly suitable for process lines, chemical apparatus, reactors, power units and critical supply systems in plant engineering.
The gasket sheets are available as standard sheet material or can be cut to exact dimensions to match individual contours – ideal for automated production, standard flanges or customised special geometries.
