TESNIT® BA-50 – High-pressure sealing sheet with a wide range of applications
TESNIT® BA-50 is a high-performance sealing material based on aramid fibres and a high-quality NBR binder. Thanks to its good thermal and chemical resistance, it is suitable for a wide range of technical sealing tasks – from general industrial applications to safety-critical areas. The material is suitable for use with hot and cold water media and exhibits high resistance to many oils, gases and process fluids.

Thanks to its good thermal and chemical resistance, it is suitable for a wide range of technical sealing applications – from general industrial uses to safety-critical areas. The material is suitable for use with hot and cold water media and exhibits high resistance to many oils, gases and process fluids.
TESNIT® BA-50 holds key international approvals, including to DIN 3535-6, SVGW, TZW ELL, DVGW W270, DNV GL, TA-Luft (VDI 2440), WRAS and EC 1935/2004. This makes it ideally suited for use in drinking water systems, water treatment plants, the general utilities sector and in shipbuilding.
The material can be supplied in standard sheet format or as custom CNC-machined blanks, enabling the precise manufacture of bespoke sealing geometries for valves, flange connections or special components.
