The elastic Z-element is an efficient solution for the acoustic decoupling of wall and ceiling structures. Thanks to its special design and high-quality rubber compound, it ensures reliable decoupling between the building structure and the flexible cladding. This significantly reduces the transmission of structure-borne sound throughout the entire junction area—a decisive advantage for modern sound insulation concepts in residential, office and commercial construction.
The Z-element can withstand both tensile and compressive loads and can be used flexibly for wall and ceiling systems. Installation is quick and easy: the acoustic vibration element is fixed to the substructure with screws, after which the two protruding arms are secured to the timber beam and connected to the wall or ceiling. This creates an elastic mounting that effectively dampens vibrations and ensures acoustic decoupling.
Each element can withstand a permissible force of up to 275 N, corresponding to a load of approximately 28 kg. The rubber block inside measures 30 × 30 × 17 mm and is made from a durable, elastic special compound designed for long-term vibration isolation. This makes the Z-element ideal for use in rooms where there are high demands for quiet and noise reduction – such as studios, living areas, technical rooms or lightweight partition walls.
