Suction hoses – polyurethane

The PROTAPE® PUR 301 AS is a super-lightweight, antistatic polyurethane hose that has been specially developed for industrial extraction and conveying applications. Thanks to its flexible PROTAPE® manufacturing technology, the hose offers exceptional flexibility whilst remaining extremely robust, making it ideal for machinery, extraction systems and mobile applications where low hose weight and high manoeuvrability are crucial.

The wall made of high-quality polyurethane offers excellent abrasion resistance and ensures that the hose remains durable even under intense mechanical stress. Furthermore, the PROTAPE® PUR 301 AS is microbe-resistant and withstands hydrolytic degradation, making it a reliable solution for production environments with fluctuating humidity levels or regular cleaning processes. The flame-retardant version further enhances safety and enables use in areas with specific fire safety requirements.

The antistatic properties reliably prevent the build-up of electrostatic charge in the conveyed materials. This is particularly advantageous when transporting dusts, fibres, light powders or dry particles, which could otherwise contribute to spark formation. Thanks to its smooth inner surface, deposits are reduced, thereby improving material flow and reducing maintenance requirements.
