Flock foam or other materials over the entire surface or partially

At Vibraplast AG, flocking takes place in an electrostatic field. This is done manually and purely electrostatically. Adhesive is first applied to the backing material. This is done by spraying with a spray gun. It is important to ensure that the adhesive layer is applied in sufficient thickness so that the flock fibres are perfectly anchored in the adhesive bed. The flock fibres will only hold where the adhesive has been applied. If you only want to flock a partial area, mask (cover) it before applying the adhesive. The different coloured flock material is then applied with an electric charge. The electrical charge causes the flock to align itself vertically in this field and thus fix itself in the adhesive. After flocking, the product is dried and the excess flock is removed by suction or blowing. Before the product or component can be used, the excess flock must be removed after drying. Flocking is possible on surfaces or three-dimensional parts on various materials such as: Foams, plastics, textiles, glass, wood, paper, cardboard ect. Surfaces can be flocked as well as three-dimensional objects made of textiles, paper, metal, plastics, glass, ceramics, wood, foil and many more. There are almost no limits to the possibilities. What are the advantages of flocking? Improved optics: Flocking the surface improves the appearance and the aesthetics and this leads to a higher value of the product. More pleasant haptics: Flocking results in a pleasant feel for products that are in contact with skin or the body. Creating an elastic, decorative or functional surface that adapts to any contour Insulating layer on a hot or cold surface to protect against contact or condensation Sliding or adhesive surface, depending on the material partner Sealing surface with good sliding effect, e.g. against glass Absorbent or receptive surface for gloves or paint rollers Noise insulation against rattling or noise reflections
