Melamine foam with carbon fiber coating on one side, abrasion-resistant soundproofing.

The melamine foam is refined further using needle punch felt that is based on carbon fibers/PES. This carbon fiber coating makes it more wear-resistant and reduces water permeability. The material can be used for thermal insulation and for soundproofing. Melamine foams are used for soundproofing in numerous applications thanks to their excellent flame-retardant properties. We offer this high-quality material in standard sheets of different thicknesses or in custom dimensions on request.

The carbon fibre coating does not change the sound absorption behaviour.
The melamine foam standard panels are supplied as untrimmed raw panels. The ordered usable dimensions are guaranteed, but protruding material (foam, fleece, SK-foil etc.) is possible.
Basotec? melamine foam has the BKZ 5.2 (hardly inflammable with medium smoke formation)
With open cell/open pore foams, each cell is openly connected to the next cell. As a result the cells are not completely closed, water, moisture and dust can get into the cell structure.
The foam standard boards are delivered as untrimmed raw boards. The ordered useful dimensions are guaranteed, protruding material (foam, fleece, SK-foil ecc.) is but possible."
