Polyester fiber mats, Fiberform / Vibra®fiber | Fiberform 62 T white, self-adhesive

The Fiberform 62T with one smooth side and a self-adhesive layer on the other can be used both for thermal insulation and soundproofing. The polyester fiber mats are based on PET and CoPolyester staple fibers and are extremely wear-resistant. They are produced through thermal bonding (without addition of binding agents) using a mixture of fibers that have a high melting point (carrier fibers) and those with a low melting point (binding fibers). The excellent flame-retarding properties (fire index 5.2, DIN 5510 S3/SR2/ST2) are achieved without adding flame retardants. This innovative product is well suited for soundproofing in ceiling cavities where this sound-absorbing mat is used as clad material.
