The styrene-butadiene rubber with the abbreviation SBR has a KTW approval (plastic drinking water) and has a hardness of 65° shore +/-5° shore A and the colour light beige. The food-safe SBR rubber has a short-term peak temperature resistance of 90° C. The para rubber is not resistant to oil and petrol, not resistant to ozone, but has a good resistance to alkalis.
