Pressed-in bushings

Bushings with pressed-in rubber body for damping of radial and axial vibrations.

Bushings, also known as joint blocks, are rubber-metal elements that, unlike the common rubber springs or vibration elements used for their spring properties, are integrated almost in all cases where relatively small displacements or angular movements of machine parts must be controlled to prevent wear by damping the effect of the restoring forces. By integrating an elastic, vibration-damping rubber between the contra-moving parts, you get a maintenance-free joint that is ideal in preventing dry running, fretting corrosion, and the associated increase in the bearing play that can only be lubricated poorly due to continuous rotating movements. You can find different dimensions with different load capacities. Please contact us for custom dimensions!

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Vulcanised bush means that the rubber is firmly bonded to the metal Calibrated bush means that the rubber is pre-stressed after vulcanization for a higher and constant load capacity. Press-fitted bush means: a rubber hose is inserted between the two metal tubes, rather for smaller loads, as the rubber can slip under too high a load

Vibrations and structure-borne noise are vibrations and can be positively influenced by applying the following basic principles of vibration reduction or by design measures. Vibration insulation, structure-borne sound insulation and impact insulation design measures
