Silphon®acoustic PET acoustic wall elements and acoustic tiles with individual design and excellent acoustic values.

The wall elements from the Silphon®acoustic PET product range are acoustic absorbers which we designed especially for wall applications and have excellent acoustic values. The robust and resistant wall absorbers are a good choice for small rooms where an acoustic ceiling cannot be used and are available in various colours in panel thickness of 12 mm and 24 mm. They are easily installed using a spray contact adhesive with which the wall elements are glued directly to the existing wall surface or, to achieve an even better room acoustic effect, we install the product with a wall substructure with a distance of 30 mm to 50 mm. Thanks to our state-of-the-art "swiss made" production in Aadorf, there are no limits to the design of the wall acoustic absorbers. Tell us your design wishes and our design department will convert them into a technical drawing using "solid works". The wall acoustic absorbers are resistant to moisture, heat and cold, and light sources such as spots can be integrated.

A classification system for the fire behaviour of building materials on a European level is used as an evaluation standard for the fire behaviour of building materials. This system was published with the standards series DIN EN 13501 Classification of Building Products and Types of Construction with regard to their fire behaviour at the beginning of 2010. It defines uniform requirements for fire protection throughout Europe, divided into building material classes (Euroclasses) A to F: A: no contribution to fire (A1, A2) B: very limited contribution to the fire C: limited contribution to the fire D: Acceptable contribution to the fire E: acceptable reaction to fire F: no power detected Further subdivisions classify secondary fire phenomena such as the development of smoke (s = smoke) as well as the burning droplets (d = droplets) of building materials: s1: low smoke development s2: average smoke development s3: high smoke development or smoke development not tested d0: no burning drip/fall off within 600 seconds d1: no burning drip/fall off with an afterburning time of more than 10 seconds within 600 seconds d2: no power detected
