Measures for subsequent sound insulation of the window. Traffic noise and other sources of noise are unfortunately a constant companion in many places - especially in cities and on busy roads or pedestrian zones, you are robbed of sleep at night because of the noise. Vibraplast AG has a wide range of foam products that can be used in mobile or stationary applications to reduce noise. The following solutions could help to reduce noise: 1. you line the roller shutter box and reduce the noise caused by this resonance body. Various foams or heavy foils can be used.? 2. you close the window shaft with our flexible PUR recycling foams/composite foams . These composite foams are very well suited for high insulation, as these foams have a high weight. The thicker you choose the foam, the better the insulation will be. In order for the foams to hold in the window shaft at all, a certain basic thickness is necessary anyway. Here you can assume a thickness of about 80 mm. Since window shafts have different dimensions, we can cut them to your specifications? The width and height of the panels should be chosen about 20 mm longer, so that the panel is also pressed tight in the shaft - the panels are flexible and adapt very well. You can of course combine points 1 and 2 and insulate the roller shutter box as well as clamp a foam board into the window shaft to achieve the best possible insulation. You can remove the plates during the day and clamp them back into the window shaft in the evening.
